smsSMSey.com to the public is a free SMS service and a SMS resource centre. It is available for free and is open to any person who needs a Kenyan SMS address that is active. When a member, one can send free SMS to any other SMS address including to those that are not members of the website.

How it works.

A SMS subscriber registers to the Service with their unique ID and after a short Verification Process to make sure they have access to the number registered, they can start using the free SMS service from SMSey.com. All SMS are Sent from the website but delivered to the specified cell phone. The recipient does not need to be a member of the website.

A normal SMS message is made up of 160 characters. The free SMS is run through corporate sponsorship, so we allow the website user to send their message within the first 100 characters and we add a tagline advert to the rest of the SMS. So the final SMS is delivered to the recipient containing the message sent by the sender plus a 57 character ad from the sponsor.
